The OM Group are exceptionally proud to be supporting the Building The Future Awards, this month.

The Building The Future Awards, which will be held in the vibrant heart of the West Midlands, is a fantastic event which sets out to recognise and celebrate the exceptional achievements of the talented, young people across the construction sector; the future of the industry. The event will highlight the incredible talent and hard work of young construction professionals between the ages of 18-35.  In addition, the night will honour companies for their support of young people in the construction industry.

In an environment where the construction sector is experiencing a significant skills gap, these awards become more than an event; they serve as a vital platform for inspiration and education. Our support of the event highlights our commitment to the growth and recognition of young construction professionals who are laying the foundations of our future, with their bright minds.  

Alongside our support of the event, we are also proud to announce our CEO Damini Sharma will be co-hosting the awards alongside the popular British broadcaster and disc jockey, Ed James. This pairing promises an unforgettable night, blending Damini’s deep industry knowledge and thought leadership with Ed’s infectious charisma and inspiring presence, together, they are sure to make the night a truly memorable occasion.

The inaugural Building The Future Awards, to be held in Birmingham, will showcase a diverse array of talent across 14 categories. These categories are designed to recognise and honour the remarkable achievements of young professionals in areas such as leadership, innovation, and sustainability.

With the finalists confirmed, we would like to extend a massive congratulations to all of the finalists for each of the 14 categories. Their hard work, outstanding achievements, and dedication to raising the standards in their respective fields is commendable. The recognition is more than just a testament to their hard work, rather it is also a celebration, and we can’t wait to see the incredible things they will continue to do. Their journey to this point has been inspiring, and we are thrilled to be able to celebrate with them on the 17th of November.
