ILM Level 3 Qualifications in Leadership and Management Practice for the Construction and Built Environment Sector

The qualification is fully funded by CITB and you must be CITB Levy registered and provide your registration number to book on.

The construction industry, recognised for its complexity and dynamism, is now acknowledging a crucial need: the development of strong leadership and management skills.

Research by CITB, supported by industry feedback, highlights this as an essential step for progress. By enhancing leadership and management training, the industry can better manage its internal and external challenges, ensuring steady growth and consistent performance.

This approach represents a practical and forward-thinking investment in the industry’s future, promising a more efficient, effective, and adaptable construction sector.

In response to this identified need, CITB has taken a proactive approach to bridge the current gap in Leadership and Management training within the industry.

They have committed £10.5 million towards providing 10,500 FREE ILM Leadership and Management courses, specifically designed for construction professionals. This significant investment has led to the awarding of contracts to three UK-wide training organizations, tasked with delivering these courses.

This initiative is not just about the numbers; it’s regionally focused to ensure local support and solutions are accessible across the United Kingdom, encompassing England, Scotland, and Wales. This approach aligns perfectly with the industry’s drive towards enhancing leadership capabilities, ensuring that the construction sector is well-equipped to face its unique challenges and opportunities.
